Spring break is supposed to be a week of fun in the sun for three childhood friends about to graduate from college. But one of them is ready to get her game on somewhere else…
Charlie Castle is an expert archer and a fierce warrior—in her favorite video game, anyway. But college life was a program she couldn't quite master. To land a cybertech job without a degree, she's entering a "hackfest" over spring break—where she also hopes to meet the sweet gamer who's been flirting with her online. Instead, she runs into the hot guy who walked away years ago, and can't fight the desire that comes rushing back.
Jonah Best has never gotten over Charlie, whose kisses were always as deliciously creative as her coding. But now that they're face to face again, he doesn't know how to admit that her online admirer is really him—or how to convince her that he's offering her a job for her incredible skills, not her sex appeal. Can Jonah cut through their communication glitches and persuade Charlie that the next level up for them should be forever?

I remember reading the very first book in the Hot & Nerdy Series and loving it so much I couldn't help but what to read about the other amazing characters that had a small part in the first book. So when I took part in a #sundaychallenge hosted by @ThisChickReads at the beginning of October, I knew what book I was going to read and I finished it in one sitting! Charlie is a lover of video games and love hacking into systems, so when she needs money and a job she knows she must risk it big to get results, entering the 'hackfest' seems like her only option. She knows her friends would never approve of what she is doing, so she decides to not to tell them though she does tell one person, having been talking to a guy online for the past year she feels that she can tell him anything if only she could finally meet him at the 'hackfest'. Jonah is the person who taught Charlie how to hack years previous and then left as if she meant to him or so she thought. Going to the 'hackfest' wasn't something he planned but when his boss tell him to go and interact with fellow hackers and gaming lovers, he knows he will run into Charlie. Coming face to face after several years, the passion and flirty nature is still present between them, something Charlie didn't expect. So, could spending time together chance her mind and his, Charlie knows that she can't risk her heart for a second time and then there is the guy she is talking to online, finally meeting him would be a dream come true but when life intervenes Charlie can't help but stand back and watch as her life changes and alters right in front of her eyes. Her Perfect Game is an amazing book that takes you out of your element and into a world of codes and hacking that will make you see things you never expected. With its quirky characters, flirty banter and great video games, Her Perfect Game is a amazing addition to the Hot & Nerdy Series. I haven't read a book like Her Perfect Game before, but I was so surprised how much I loved it. If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Nerdy, Thrilling and Unique.

With college graduation looming, three childhood friends vow to make spring break their last blast of pure fun. But at least one of them didn’t count on such incredible heat …
Layla Sharpe is definitely more math ninja than bikini babe, and her future has been calculated with razor precision. Convinced to let loose over spring break, Layla is finally ready to party—until her car breaks down halfway to her destination, leaving her stranded in Georgia with a mouthwateringly hot pool shark. She knows more than enough about angles to learn the game, but this week she wants him to appreciate her curves…
Phin Marks has never met a girl like Layla. She’s more Star Wars geek than seductress, and when he offers her a place to stay while her car is in the shop, he’s counting on the attraction between them to set the nights ablaze, no strings attached. But every moment he spends with Layla makes it harder to let her go. Can he persuade her to gamble in the most dangerous way possible…on forever?

Layla Sharpe is a woman who knows what she wants and goes for it guns blazing (though not literally). So, when she get the chance to have one final spring break before going out into the real world, she decides to have fun for one week and then get on with the rest of her life. Planning on meeting one of her best friends, she heads off for the best spring break ever.
Phin Marks is the loner type who loves playing pool, a man who doesn't stay in one place long enough to know what is really like, though that could be do with the fact that he use to be a gypsy. Although, at the age of eighteen he left knowing that he would never see or hear from the people who were a big part of his life, but he always knew that yet still when anyway.
So, when Layla decides to travel in her beat up old car to Texas, she never planned on her car breaking down in Atlanta. Forced to stay in Atlanta whilst her car is been fixed isn't something she wanted. Suddenly, she is thrown into Phin world who she find out works to the company that is repairing her car. Though it isn't long before things get worse, after having all her money stolen and unable to pay for accommodation, Phin offers her his couch, although it isn't long before his couch turns into his bed.
Both Layla and Phin are from different worlds, Layla has her future planned out, where as Phin is ready to move on to the next town to start over again, just like he normally does. So, when Layla decides to change the course of her future, Phin knows that he must do everything in his power to make sure, she becomes what she has always dreamt of, even if it means losing her in the process.
Her Best Shot is a romance story with a difference, with its complex characters it shows the difference between what we think we want in life, to what we really need in our lives and the things we learn along the way.
If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Competitive, Sexy and Amazing.
