'Frisky Friday' is a weekly meme, that is being hosted by 23 Review Street...Masked. 'Frisky Friday' can consist of a review of a short novel, regular novel or telling everyone about a novel you are currently reading. 'Frisky' books would consist of new adult books, erotic books, books that contain friskiness in them or all of the above.

In her debut erotic novel, Sasha Grey takes us inside a private, high-profile, sex society where anything and everything can happen.

Catherine, a blossoming film student whose sexuality has been recently stirred, finds herself drawn into a secret club where the world's most powerful people meet to explore their deepest, often darkest sexual fantasies. Even as it opens up new avenues to pleasure, it also threatens to destroy everything that Catherine holds dear.

From bathroom stalls in dive bars, to private jets over St. Tropez, Catherine takes the reader with her through a sexual awakening and psychological development, unparalleled in contemporary erotica.
The Juliette Society is a secret club that has the most exclusive members, people that you would meet in your everyday life, people that you would never believe to be part of this secret club and people who are powerful and in control of society. Catherine is a college student who has really started to bloom sexually, fantasying about her lecturer and imagining herself being someone else, someone who knew what she wants and how to get it.

After meeting Anna, who happens to be in her film class also, she is dragged into the world of sex parties, hidden havens of sexual awakening and a life she never pictured herself involved in. Anna is the opposite to Catherine, with her connections to powerful people who live in the world that is hidden in society and now she has pulled Catherine into it as well.

Catherine embarks on journey of discovery both mentally, sexuality and personality through out the book. Although nothing is what is seems, the more the story progresses, the more comes to light and then you realise that life within The Juliette Society isn't all fun and games.

In more you get sucked in the more you find out, the more secrets get revealed and the more things start to make sense. Catherine wasn't suppose to know about the secrets, the ones that could destroy people's lives and their career if they were to get publicly told. She must do everything she can to escape the world that she has found herself in and make sure she doesn't end up like all the other girls who knew the secrets of The Juliette Society.

The Juliette Society is a daring books that shows you the different side to the world we live in and the people who live their lives in the hidden parts, where sex and fantasies are the most important and who you are is left at the door.

I thought The Juliette Society was very different from other books in the genre, with the writing style that was very different from what I am used to. I had been wanting to read The Juliette Society for a while, and it left me on the edge of your seat and made me wish I had read it a lot, lot sooner.

If I had to sum this book up in three words, they would be Thrilling, Daring and Unbelievable.

Another day, another book,
